Spring Equinox Retreat

A Deep Nervous System Reset for the New Season

Including trauma-release, breathwork, and restorative sharing

As we step into the Spring Equinox, we’re invited into a moment of balance — a pause between seasons, a chance to ground, release, and begin again. This retreat is designed to support exactly that: a deep nervous system reset that helps you soften what you’ve been carrying and step into the new season with more space, clarity and capacity.

Held in the beautiful Flimwell Park - a pioneering mixed-use woodland centre set within 46 acres of beautiful, broadleaved coppiced forest. There’s so much stunning woodland to support you and your integration during this transformational retreat and beyond.

This is for you if you are:

Craving deep rest, grounding and nervous system release

Holding anxiety, tension or emotional overwhelm

Ready to move into Spring feeling clearer and more connected

Wanting a safe space to be held, witnessed and supported

Curious about somatic practices like TRE® and breathwork

Entering the new season wanting to feel more like yourself again

What to expect:

Grounding Arrival + Opening Intention

We begin by gently guiding you back into your body, creating the internal safety needed for deeper work. A calm, grounding start to set the tone for the day.

TRE® (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises)

Sophie will guide a full TRE session, supporting your body to naturally release stored tension and unwind the layers of survival stress.
A safe, contained environment to let your system soften — at your own pace.

Tea, Snacks + Rest

Time to slowly come back into the room, nourish yourself, and settle before the next phase of the day.

Conscious Connected Breathwork

Nina will take you on a powerful breathwork journey to help you access deeper layers of emotional and energetic release.
This is deep nervous system work — held safely, intentionally and with care.

Optional Sharing + Integration Circle

Space to process, speak, or simply listen. No pressure. Just a held environment for whatever arises.

Tools to Take Into the New Season

You’ll leave with grounding practices, regulation tools and simple somatic techniques you can use long after the retreat ends.

PLUS: Follow-Up Integration Call

One week later, we’ll gather on Zoom for a gentle integration session, including a guided meditation to help your system digest, settle and anchor the shifts from the retreat.

Frequently Asked Questions

Question 1: Do I need any experience to come?

Not at all. This space is beginner-friendly and designed especially for people who are new to this kind of work. You don’t need to know anything about meditation, somatics, or trauma healing—we’ll gently guide you through everything

Question 2: What should I bring?

Just yourself. You don’t need any special equipment. We recommend wearing something comfy and bringing a bottle of water. We’ll provide everything else you need, including tea, snacks, mats & blankets.

Question 3: What if I don’t feel comfortable sharing?

That’s totally okay. Sharing is always optional, and you’ll never be put on the spot. This is a gentle, consent-based space where you can participate in a way that feels right for you.

Question 4: Is this a therapy session?

No, this isn’t group therapy—but it is therapeutic. You’ll be guided through trauma-informed practices that are designed to support your nervous system and emotional wellbeing, but it’s not a replacement for 1:1 therapy or medical support.

Question 5: What is TRE®?

TRE® stands for Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises—a simple series of movements that help your body naturally shake off deep muscular tension, stress, or trauma. It’s a gentle, self-regulating practice that supports your nervous system to unwind and return to a state of calm.

Question 6: What type of Breathwork will we be doing?

You will be guided through Conscious Connected Breathwork (CCB), a transformational breathing practice designed to help you access deep physical, emotional, and mental states. Using conscious, connected breathing, this practice helps you connect with your inner self, balance your nervous system, and release emotional blocks, offering a powerful pathway to mental clarity, relaxation, and emotional freedom. We will also be giving you some techniques that you can take away and use daily to support you and your nervous system.

Question 7: Are there any medical conditions that mean I need to avoid Breathwork or TRE?

All retreat attendees will be asked to complete a medical questionnaire prior to the retreat. In many cases, practices can be adapted to suit individual needs, but certain conditions require extra care, including:

Cardiovascular issues

Pregnancy

Seizure disorders or epilepsy

Recent surgery or serious injuries

Glaucoma or eye surgery

If you would like to discuss any medical conditions before booking, please feel free to email us at [email protected]
